Certified Coach & Non-Harassment Counselor with a passion for enhancing mutual understanding & respect, growth and well-being.
As a certified SCM counselor I coach those who come to me on a personal basis, as well as executives who are referred to me by their companies. Mostly mid-career profesionals but recently also younger adults who are looking for direction. I coach in English and in Dutch.
As a certified non-harassment & non-discrimination counselor I work for various larger services companies in accordance to the guidelines of the national LVV (Landelijke Vereniging Vertrouwenspersonen).
From 2005 till July 2011 I lived in Bucharest because of an international transfer of my partner. Here I eventually coached higher management executives of various international organisations and expat partners. I was also involved in community work for Roma.
In 2003 I completed the 2 year SCM post-graduate training SCM post-graduate training, and started a small coaching practice in Amsterdam. During that time I worked closely with Verspui Executive Search.
Before 2003 I enjoyed working as an executive search consultant. In my last position I was a Partner in a Dutch executive search firm. Initially I specialized in IT management positions and later broadened my focus to Business-to-Business European management positions.
I graduated from the University of Amsterdam and have a Master’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology & Non-Western Sociology. Human behaviour – individually, in our personal context or within organisations and cultural groups – still fascinates me.
